Volume and mass
Volume is the space that a substance fills up. Most units that volume use are gallons, milliliters, teaspoons and ounces and many others. When scientist in chemistry work with volume they usually use a unit that is not an SI unit called Liters.
Mass is the amount of matter an object has in it. A lot of people think that mass and weight are the same thing, but there are very different. Weight is described as the measure of earth gravity that pulls down something. Mass is not affected by gravity at all .Like Liters is the SI unit for volume, for mass its main unit is kilograms (Kg)
